Deerfield Beach Fall Events 2026: Your Hillsboro Boulevard Guide

Where are Deerfield Beach's fall weekends actually happening this year? Map every 2026 event that has an address on the city calendar, the Broward County Parks listings and the Historical Society's schedule. Very few of the pins land on the sand. Most of them follow Hillsboro Boulevard west from downtown and end at Quiet Waters. The one listing whose name points to the oceanfront, Ocean Way Holiday, is set for December 3.

If you plan your fall around that route instead of the beach, the season turns into a set of short drives, and a few Saturdays stack several events in a row.

The East End: Pioneer Park, the Butler House and a Floating Pumpkin Patch

The season starts this Saturday, October 10. The City of Deerfield Beach's Annual Fall Festival runs from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 217 NE 5th Avenue, and admission is free. The city's announcement lists a Pumpkin Patch where children can pick a pumpkin to take home while supplies last. It also lists a Trunk-or-Treat area with decorated vehicles, themed tents and community organizations handing out candy. The city's events listing also mentions a biergarten, food vendors, an artisan lane and live entertainment.

The same morning, the city's parks calendar has a Floating Pumpkin Patch from 9 a.m. to noon at the Peggy Noland Aquatics Complex, 501 SE 6th Avenue. With both on the schedule, October 10 has a pumpkin event in the morning and another in the late afternoon.

The Deerfield Beach Historical Society anchors the east end through October. On Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Historic Butler House, the Museum of Black History and the Mid-Century Museum & Cultural Center with Art Gallery are open for tours at 380 E. Hillsboro Blvd. On October 21 at 6 p.m., the lecture series presents "A Legacy in Print," the story of The Observer, with Sally Ling and Dana Eller. Love4Arts meets Thursday evenings through October at 84 SE 4th Avenue. The month ends there with "Deerfrenda" Remembering Our People on October 30 and 31. A Movie Night showing Coco is also listed for the evening of October 30, and its time overlaps with Deerfrenda, so check the Society's calendar before you go.

You can eat along the same road. X7 Eatery is at 1400 E. Hillsboro Blvd., Unit 101, and its website lists business hours and online ordering. The Sun Sentinel named Jiaren "Chef Carlos" Zheng as the owner in its spring coverage of the opening. Thick & Thin Pizzeria opened its second location at Hillsboro Square near Federal Highway and Hillsboro Boulevard. Deerfield News reported in June that siblings Alessandro and Gabriela, the next generation of the founding Lunetto family, run the new shop.

The Middle Stretch: Constitution Park and Arboretum

Head west and the next cluster is at Constitution Park and Arboretum, 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd. The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk is there on Saturday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The same park turns into Haunted Arboretum on Friday, October 23, from 8 to 10 p.m. The city's September 29 release confirms the Constitution Park location and promises fog, roaming graveyard creatures and scares across the park grounds. The 8 p.m. start is the latest of the city's October events, and the description is aimed at visitors who want to be scared, not at small children.

The West End Has the Most Dates

Most of the fall events cluster at the far west end. Two venues share the Quiet Waters name. Quiet Waters Athletic Park, at 4200 W. Hillsboro Blvd., is where the city's Eventbrite listing puts the November 6 Movies in the Park/Pumpkin Smash showing of The Wild Robot. That listing describes a free outdoor family movie with free popcorn and food trucks, with a pumpkin-smashing activity beforehand. The times don't match. The city calendar says 6:30 to 10 p.m., while the Eventbrite page says 6 to 9 p.m., with gates opening at 6 and the movie starting at 7. Arriving at 6 covers both versions.

Broward County's Quiet Waters Park, at 401 S. Powerline Road, has the busiest schedule of any venue in the city this fall:

Date Event Time Listed by
Fri., Oct. 9 Family Campfire and Hayride 6:30–9 p.m. Broward County Parks
Sun., Oct. 11 Florida State Championship MTB Race 8 a.m.–1 p.m. Broward County Parks
Sat., Oct. 17 18th Edition Brazilian Festival South Florida 2–10 p.m. Festival organizer
Wed., Oct. 21 Mountain Bike Night Ride 7:30–9:30 p.m. Quiet Waters Park
Sat., Nov. 7 Chasing Change 5K 7 a.m. Broward County Parks
Fri., Nov. 27 Pompano Fall Festival Kick-off Field Party 5–10 p.m. 2 Extreme Marketing
Sat., Nov. 28 6th Annual Pompano Fall Festival 3–10 p.m. 2 Extreme Marketing

Broward County Parks lists the Family Campfire and Hayride as an every-second-Friday event, so it repeats beyond October 9. Despite its name, the Pompano Fall Festival takes place in Deerfield Beach. The organizer's 2026 listing puts both Thanksgiving-weekend days at Quiet Waters. The Sun Sentinel included the Brazilian Festival in its September 24 roundup of October festivities across the region, which makes Quiet Waters a regional draw that weekend as well as a local park.

October 17 Covers the Whole Route

Saturday, October 17 is the best example of how this fall works. Four listed events cover the whole route, from Federal Highway out to Powerline Road. The three morning events overlap, so pick the order that suits you:

  1. 9 a.m., Deerfield Beach Farmers Market, 1015 S. Federal Hwy., across from Target. The market's site says it runs every Saturday from October through May, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and calls this Season 2. The site doesn't list a year, so confirm the opening date before you count on it.
  2. 10 a.m., Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Constitution Park and Arboretum, 2841 W. Hillsboro Blvd., until noon.
  3. Late morning or early afternoon, Museum Tours back east at 380 E. Hillsboro Blvd., open until 2 p.m.
  4. 2 p.m. onward, the Brazilian Festival at Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Road, running until 10 p.m.

The Historical Society also lists a "Cement Planters Decor" art class that morning from 10 a.m. to noon at 84 SE 4th Avenue, which competes with the walk for the same two hours. Other Saturdays work the same way on a smaller scale. October 10 pairs the Floating Pumpkin Patch on SE 6th Avenue with the evening Fall Festival at Pioneer Park. November 7 starts early with the Chasing Change 5K at Quiet Waters, the morning after Pumpkin Smash at the athletic park down the road.

Where the Calendar Turns Toward the Coast

The city calendar puts Ocean Way Holiday on Thursday, December 3, from 5 to 9 p.m. The listing gives only "Deerfield Beach FL 33441" as the location, and the city's event page hasn't posted a program yet. Expect the oceanfront from the name, but wait for the city's announcement before planning around a specific block or activity.

December's other dated events stay inland. The Mayor Chess Challenge is Saturday, December 12, 10 a.m. to noon, at Hillsboro Community Center, 50 Hillsboro Technology Drive. Movies in the Park closes the year with Elf on Friday, December 18, from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Several city events are dated but don't have a location yet. Check these before you go:

  • Movies In The Park: Michael, Friday, October 16, 6:30–10 p.m.
  • Business & Leadership Night, Thursday, October 29, 6:30–10 p.m., at 111 Jim Moran Blvd., with Mayor Todd Drosky's State of the City address and proceeds benefiting the Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce. The address is listed, but the host isn't named.
  • Veterans Day Ceremony, Wednesday, November 11, 9–10 a.m.
  • All That Jazz!, Friday, November 20, 7–9 p.m.

Except for Business & Leadership Night, each of these lists only the 33441 ZIP code on the city calendar. The city's Movies in the Park page will have the October 16 location once it's posted. If you've only been watching the beach, you'll miss most of what's happening between now and December 3. Most of the season sits along Hillsboro Boulevard and out at Quiet Waters.
